Hello I’m Laura and co founder of Happy Confident Kids. I am an NLP Master practitioner, qualified coach and hypnotherapist, and head up our coaching team.

I live in Kenilworth with my husband Steve and our two children.

My experience helping people started in my 16 year career at West Midlands Police, until I hung up boots (over ten years ago) and became a full time Wellbeing Coach. This transition happened after going through my own journey of healing, so I personally know the potential positive impact of our tools.

I have had the privilege to coach 1000’s of kids, and the people that support them, giving tools that help them to thrive.

Teaming up with Miranda in 2023 we have combined all of our skills, to next level and grow our community.

Everyday brings new opportunities and scope of work, one day I’ll be providing 1-2-1 kids coaching, the next I may be running workshops or working with charities such as the Canal & River Trust.

I get to do this.

Some of the recent projects I have been working on:

Our approach isn’t about replacing long-term care; it’s about providing fast, effective […]

This initiative marked a new approach for the […]

Transforming Verbal Freeze into Confidence

Every day, I am grateful for the privilege of doing this work—being a Kids Confidence Coach is deeply rewarding, especially when delivering immediate, life-changing support to young people. A Year 9 student was experiencing severe anxiety and a critical lack of self-belief. This manifested in physical tension, difficulty making eye contact, and near-total verbal freeze […]
