We have been working with Alderbrook School for a few years now and its been amazing especially for Laura as this was her secondary school. So to be able to go back into a space where she can now help others to step into confidence is amazing. We have a close working relationship with the Head (Tom Beveridge), Deputy head (Gemma Hobbs) and also Mary (Inclusion and Support Lead) and they do amazing work within the community, with a specific focus on supporting leaners from cradle to career. It was great to work alongside Tom during our work with Smartphone FREE childhood.

TTD: Outdoor Learning with Alderbrook 2026

It was a real pleasure to be invited back again to Alderbrook Secondary School as part of their community Teacher Training Day, where they invite educators from all the feeder primary schools. Educators could sign up to various sessions throughout the day and we hosted one on outdoor learning, where we gave participants a taste […]

We loved being back with the Alderbrook Secondary School team running three weeks of In the Wild Sessions. We had some smaller sessions for Year 7 & 8 targeted at learners really needing support. It was great to see the amazing positive impact on the participants.

Mary really is the ultimate Glimmer Seeker, which is why we made her our first ever “Honorary Glimmer Seeker”. Over the last few years we have worked together on various initiatives including running In the Wild sessions for Year 7 and 8 students with SEN at Alderbrook Secondary School, in Solihull. We love catching up […]

In the Wild Secondary Schools Sessions for Alderbrook

We loved running smaller sessions of our In the Wild Programme for 20 for Year 9 and 10 and then year 7 & 8 over five weeks, for Alderbrook Secondary school. The sessions were aimed at supporting leaners with SEN or other needs which meant being in can often been more challenging.
